"I’m impressed with the candidate of the Green party"

Excerpt from an article in the Westmount Examiner about last Wednesday's debate:

Many, in fact, came away with a newfound appreciation for Green party representative, Claude William Genest.

“Some of the men were really quite boring. The only man with any passion was Genest,” said Anne Elborne, a long-time Westmount resident.

Jasmine Diener, a new transplant to the area, echoed Elborne’s sentiments, though she wished she could have heard more from him.

“I’m impressed with the candidate of the Green party," she said. "I thought he was really well-spoken. But I would have liked to see the questions divided more evenly. It was really dominated by Liberals and the NDP.”

Green leader May helps Genest launch campaign

About 100 volunteers and supporters gathered at the Sherbrooke Street headquarters of Green Party candidate Claude William Genest last Tuesday to officially launch Genest's by-election campaign in Westmount – Ville Marie.
“It’s a very exciting time for the Green Party, and it’s a special honour to have Elizabeth May with us tonight,” said Genest, introducing the federal party's leader.
